Challenge Station Hosts

Role: Manage a designated challenge station, explain tasks to participants, enforce rules, and verify task completion before handing out the next clue.

Skills Needed: Friendly, good at explaining instructions, organized.

Route Guides

Role: Help teams navigate between checkpoints, ensuring no one gets lost or accidentally goes off course. May also serve as “spotters” to ensure teams follow rules.

Skills Needed: Familiarity with the local area, ability to give clear directions.

Set-Up and Tear-Down Crew

Role: Help set up challenge stations, starting/finish lines, and signage before the event. Assist in packing up once the race concludes.

Skills Needed: Physical fitness, teamwork, willingness to do manual tasks.

Drivers

Role: Drive racers around as needed on race day.

Items Required: An insured car.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Volunteers must be available for a pre-race meeting or two.
